On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 10th World Congress of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, which will be held from the 2nd to 5th of June, 2022. The Congress will take place on Jeju Island, South Korea, a wonderful, visa-free Sea resort destination, conveniently located a short distance by air from Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing and many other Asian cities. On Jeju Island you can enjoy magnificent, mysterious landscapes created by the volcanic and lava tubes (UNESCO World Heritage Site), as well as Hallasan National Park, and take breathtaking hikes along the Olle trails, running along Jeju’s beautiful coastline. Both Jeju's outstanding natural beauty and its unique cultural heritage - from the ancient Dolharubang or “grandfather rocks” to the K-Pop VR Experience - will make your visit exciting and memorable.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapies remain the gold standard in evidence-based practice in the mental health field. With the theme of “East Meets West: Embracing diversity and improving access to CBT”, the program of WCCBT2022 will include plenary presentations, symposia, workshops, master classes, and sessions. The primary goal of the Congress’ scientific program is to identify ways with which to develop and implement CBT in order to meet the needs of clients from diverse societal and cultural backgrounds, It will also address the challenges when using cutting edge technologies, and other innovations in the field, so as to overcome barriers in CBT utilization and dissemination.

WCCBT 2022 will be an opportunity for East to meet West, and provide a podium for thought-provoking discussions regarding the future of CBT, given different historical, philosophical and theoretical approaches to our field, especially in this new era of fast-growing technologies. The Congress will offer you the ideal opportunity to connect and reconnect with CBT professionals from all over the world. Jeju Convention Center, with its spacious grounds near the ocean and nearby Olle Trails, will promote encounters with others in a truly friendly, relaxing and welcoming environment.

We look forward to sharing this unique event and welcoming you to Jeju Island, Korea in 2022.
